If you really suffer from dirty shoes then the heavy duty Cubic doormats with a black rubber mat or a red coconut mat are the best solution! Mud, snow or heavy clay, on the heavy doormat grids you can easily scrape and stamp the shoes. After that, just sweep the shoes on the doormat and ready! The red coco mat has an open structure through which dirt and water sinks through so the doormat cleans by rain naturally. The Cubic doormat is available in 2 separate square grids of 40x40cm that you can put together endlessly. Plastic feet are included so that the separate door grids are held together and these feet also prevent the grid from wobbling on an uneven surface. On these grids you can then place the doormat of your choice or you can use them without a doormat as a cleaning grid.
The Cubic doormat - door grid is also available in the size 80x40cm where you place the doormat in the middle and then you have left and right grid-scrapers. To complete the doormat, you can order the rubber edge-surround of 5cm thick as an option. This edge-surround fits around 2 grids of 40x40 and around the grid of 80x40. With this rubber edge, the door grid lies firmly on the ground and does not move when it is stamped on.

Can the door grid be used without a mat?

The door grid of 40x40cm can be used without a doormat.
We do not recommend using the 40 x 80 cm door grid without a doormat, the centre grid is shaped differently from the scrape grids on the left and right of the centre grid. In this case you better use a doormat in the middle, its also more convenient as it cleans your shoes even better.

Does the dirt also sink through the coco doormat, just like the rubber doormat?

No, the coco mats have a normal dense and closed coco structure and they will get filled with dirt at a given moment. The Coco mat can then be cleaned with a high-pressure cleaner, but the coco mat will wear out faster.

I see in the video that there is also an increase grid for the doormat. Can you also supply them?

Will the door grid rust?

The door grille is made of heavy steel and hot-dip galvanized. Normally this will never rust unless there are heavy damages in the galvanized layer. Should it rust then you can repair the damage with a little paint. We have these door grids already 8 years at the entrance of our showroom and they still look perfect!
